When an attempt at mitigating climate change fails and leads to a second Ice Age, the remaining humans across the world board the Snowpiecer, a train on an infinite loop around the world. A rigid class system emerges on the train–with the poorest imprisoned at the rear and the wealthiest indulging at the front–but the stirrings of a revolution begin to foment among the oppressed class.
