About this Event

Note: this program was moved from January 31 to March 14 due to weather conditions!

On Saturday, March 14, join us for a walking tour of Smith Hill's history with Providence Preservation Society's Annual Meeting keynote speaker Keith Morton at 1pm, weather permitting.

The walk will cover between 1 and 1.5 miles and will depart from and return to the Smith Hill Community Library. Stops will include Love Divine Cherubim and Seraphim Church on Candace Street, the Armenian Memorial, Douglas and Chalkstone Avenues, and St. Patrick’s Cemetery, among others. We will reschedule this walk if the weekend brings snow, ice, or temperatures below 25!

Please wear comfortable shoes and dress warmly as the entire walk will be outdoors!
Please note that the Library does not have a dedicated parking lot but there is plentiful street parking.
