🌴Slimetopia®: Slime Chefs on Deck® Our Challenge Island STEAM Teams® have been chosen to be slime sous chefs on the S.S. Slimetopia® cruise ship where they will stir up the most delicious-looking (not tasting!) slime recipes on the Seven Seas! From Ramen Noodle Slime on Shake, Rattle and Sushi Roll Day to Banana Split Slime on Tutti Fruity Day to Flamin’ Hot Cheeto Slime on Say Cheese Day, Slimetopia Chefs on Deck is a deliciously squishy, squashy, ooey, gooey blast!
🌴 Week of June 22-25, 9-3:30 Monday-Thursday for ages 5-11. Held at one of Ankeny's best parks- Hawkeye Park in Lakeside Center!

🌴 Description:
When school’s out, STEAM is on! Kids can dive into science, technology, engineering, art, and math in an unforgettable STEAM experience. Challenge Island empowers kids to reach their full learning potential through team-based, collaborative, and creative challenges. Along the way, campers practice the engineering design process, build essential 21st-century skills, and leave every session proud of what they’ve accomplished.
🌴About our day at Challenge Island:
We use screen-free learning and teach the original definition of technology which is to discover new solutions to real-world problems. Children work together to complete thrilling challenges using the engineering process, power of imagination, and a treasure chest of materials! We incorporate indoor active learning, relaxed play, outdoor activities, and community building with new friends all wrapped up in an island-infused environment.
