About this Event
Join us for a day of creativity, discovery, and botanical inspiration at the South London Botanical Institute.
Immerse yourself in our autumn garden and browse the botanical library. Unwind with watercolours as you capture the delicate forms and hues of plants in November. Discover the wonders of plant life under the microscope and learn about their remarkable adaptations.
Harvest seeds and print your own seed packet with the Print Room & Bindery volunteers from Bell House. Bell House is a volunteer-led charity in Dulwich championing creative education and lifelong learning for all.
You’ll also have a chance to see our herbarium cataloguing project in action!
There will be activities for ALL AGES and you do not have to book.
This Open Afternoon is free for all. Donations welcome.
Following the open day we have two screenings:
5.30pm. Doors open at 5pm.
Brachen of Berlin (70 mins), a documentary about wild flowers in post-war Berlin by urban geographer Matthew Gandy. By Donation. Book tickets or sign up on the day. Book tickets for the screening here.
