SIU Alumni 2024 Homecoming Tailgate

Calling all Salukis! The SIU Alumni Association and the Carbondale in the '80s and '90s Group are once again hosting the biggest Homecoming Tailgate on Saluki Row, starting at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2024!

Presented by our premiere sponsor, RollnUp Smoke Shop & Liquor, and supported by the River Radio Group, this will be THE PLACE to share your Saluki pride and enjoy some quality time with fellow alumni before the SIU football team takes on North Dakota State. Kickoff is at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices are $40 per person ($25 for individuals 21 and under), with the option to purchase a table for your party at $80 (tables will be limited). Prices include a game ticket, food, beer, soft drinks, and giveaways courtesy of the Association. The Winston's Bagel cart will also be on-site with items available for purchase.

Alumnus Todd Thomas '92, "That One Guy" from the St. Louis Cardinals will be on hand to provide entertainment, and we'll even have an impromptu line dancing session in the spirit of this year's Homecoming theme, Salukis on the Frontier!

Finally, we'll be having a silent auction, where you'll have a chance to bid on Saluki sports memorabilia and spirits baskets. Proceeds go to support Association programs and scholarships.

Whether you're a recent graduate or a seasoned alum, this event is the perfect opportunity to reminisce about your time at SIU and create new memories with friends old and new.

Don't forget to wear your Saluki gear and bring your game face! We'll have games and activities for all ages, so bring the whole family along for a day of Saluki pride.

Please remember to bring a photo ID with you to be served alcohol.
