1st Annual Justin Dentmon 3on3 Basketball tournament

Tournament Format:

· 3 players per team

· double -elimination bracket

· Games played to 21 points or a designated time limit (e.g., 15-20 minutes)

· BOYS & GIRLS

•1st- 3rd Division

•3rd -5th Division

•6th-8th Division

•High school Division

•College (Cash Prize) Division

• 40 & over Division

•Business Division

· Standard basketball rules apply, with some modifications (e.g., no defensive three-second rule)

Key Features:

· Fast-paced, high-intensity games

· Emphasis on teamwork, strategy, and skill

· Reduced team size allows for more ball handling and shooting opportunities

· Compact court size increases player interaction and physicality

Tournament Structure:

· Pool play or round-robin group stage to determine seeding

· Double -elimination bracket with winners advancing and losers being dropped to losers bracket

· Championship game to determine the tournament winner

Awards and Recognition:

· Championship team receives a trophy or prize

· Cash prize to adult winner

Logistics:

· Tournament will be held indoors

· Courts can be adjusted to accommodate multiple games simultaneously

· Scorekeeping, officiating, and timekeeping responsibilities
