2024 SIU Alumni Band Reunion

Join your fellow former Marching Salukis for a standout reunion celebration on Friday, October 11. This year, the SIU Alumni Band Group will mark the dedication of the Mike Hanes Tower, located on the marching band's new practice field next to Charlotte West Stadium on the east side of campus, across the street from the Student Recreation Center.

The itinerary of the evening is as follows:

• Dedication of Mike Hanes Tower - 4 p.m.
• Alumni Band Group Annual Business Mtg. - 5:30 p.m.
• Group gathering on South Illinois Avenue (The Strip) for the "Off The Rails" concert, featuring Modern Day Saints and the final performance of Jungle Dogs (Pizza, appetizers, desserts, and other refreshments will be provided)

On Saturday, alumni will have the option to perform with the current Marching Salukis during the SIU vs North Dakota State football game. Participants will be given T-shirts and hats to keep this year, however, it will be your responsibility to bring them with you if you attend future reunions. If you need to replace either the shirt or hat in the future, it will cost $15 for the shirt and $25 for the hat. Please remember to indicate your shirt size as well as instrument needs when completing the registration form.
