About this Event

Radical Sociability understands social relations as a deliberate political, ethical and spiritual practice. It names an imaginative, ongoing and iterative commitment to transforming the world through intentional, embodied shifts in how we relate - to ourselves, to others, and to the more-than-human world.

In this next iteration of ‘I’ve been Through The Mill’, Lou Drago and Keira Sinclair will discuss this emergent theory through their lived experiences in community and self-organised DIY spaces as sites of Radical Sociability.

Lou Drago is an autodidact artist and sonic practitioner working with gathered and created sounds, words, rituals, other beings and affective experiences. Often working with live formats, they draw connections between; the illusory nature of time, the transformative potential of deep listening, the necessity of collectivity and solidarity, queer-anti-racist-trans-feminisms, ecological practices, meditation and dreams.

Keira Sinclair is an event producer, booking agent and cultural organiser with two decades of experience across Glasgow, London and Berlin. Their work spans electronic music, queer nightlife, festivals and community-led cultural projects with a focus on creating climates for connection, care and creative exchange. They bring together strategic thinking, listening and production skills to explore how intentional ways of relating can shape inclusive and transformative collective experiences.
