On New Year’s Eve, the luxury ocean liner SS Poseidon is struck by a massive tidal wave and capsizes, turning the ship completely upside down. The few survivors, trapped in the overturned vessel, must navigate the perilous, inverted wreck to reach safety before the ship sinks. Led by the determined and unconventional Reverend Frank Scott, a small group — including an elderly couple, a rebellious waiter, a grieving brother and sister, and a frightened young woman — must climb upward toward the hull, their only hope of escape. Along the way, they face flooding compartments, deadly fires, and collapsing debris as tensions rise and faith is tested. One by one, the group members make sacrifices for each other, revealing both courage and tragedy in the face of disaster. The Poseidon Adventure is a gripping tale of survival, leadership, and the human spirit’s determination to overcome impossible odds.
