About this Event

Drawing inspiration from the vast canon of literature, past and present, Silent Writing Happy Hour offers an intimate space where you can join us for a focused writing session -- or serve as guest scribe. Guest scribes share a short reading of their choosing and offer a writing prompt before we all write together. Each session concludes with audience participation and an exquisite corpse go-round of shared reflections.

Our only rule is:

You can only read what you wrote in the room.
