Writers Flock: A Writing Group at Lofty Pigeon Books

Join Lofty Pigeon Books and local writer Sam Bellamy for a casual and community-oriented writing group the third Monday of every month!
Write with your neighbors in a quiet and cozy space. Start something new, dust off something old, or keep chipping away at your current project. There will be an optional prompt at the start of the hour if you need inspiration, and the opportunity to read what you worked on at the end.
RSVPs appreciated but not required.
About the facilitator
Sam Bellamy is a poet and fiction writer from Brooklyn. They received their MFA from the City College of New York, where they were awarded the Stark Poetry Prize. They have taught writing in various forms at Writopia Lab, City College, and Lehman College, and they contributed chapters to the forthcoming creative writing textbook The Embodied Writer. When they are not reading or writing, they can be found biking around Brooklyn, caring for stray cats, and catching movies on the big screen.
