On Wednesday December 17 at 7PM, I will be giving a talk about my trip to Colombia to the State College Bird Club, "Sights and Sounds of Northern Colombia." Here is a link to sign up to get the zoom link to watch my talk:

Or you are welcome to come in person at the environmental center at Millbrook Marsh. The first ~15-20 minutes are usually club business and then my talk will start.
Complementing stories of my experiences in Colombia, my talk features my sound recordings as well as about 45 of my watercolor paintings of birds from the trip. A number of the birds featured in my presentation are threatened or endangered species. Further, many of my recordings are of species that have rarely been audio recorded before. For example, my recordings of the White-tailed Starfrontlet (a kind of hummingbird in Colombia) are two of only 10 held by the Macaulay Library, the world's largest depository of animal media.
We will meet in the Spring Creek Education Building, with a zoom option available for those that cannot attend in person.
Look forward to seeing you there!
This is a hybrid meeting.
Location: Millbrook Marsh Spring Creek Education Building.
