Show Up and Write X Hip Hop Theatre

Participants will learn various methods of devising monologues based on narrative hip-hop songs. They’ll then choose a hip-hop song or songs as inspiration then devise their new work. Participants will read the work for feedback on the script from the playwriting facilitator. The acting facilitator will guide participants through a performance exercise where they will perform a staged reading of their work.
