Kalamazoo County Senior Expo and Veterans Stand Down 2026

The Senior Expo, hosted by the Kalamazoo County Area Agency on Aging, will feature over 140 exhibitors offering information, services, and resources to help older adults and their caregivers live well, stay active, and access local programs. Attendees can learn about healthcare, housing, financial planning, caregiving support, recreation, and community services tailored to older residents and the families who support them.
The Veteran Stand Down will provide essential services and support for veterans of all ages. Veterans will also have access to free meals, haircuts, and direct connections with service providers who understand their unique needs. Government-issued identification (such as DD-214, veteran ID, or military ID) is required for entry. Veterans are also able to utilize the Secretary of State mobile unit to have the veterans indicator added to their state ID or driver’s license at the event. Must bring their DD214 to be eligible for this service. Coordinated by the Kalamazoo County Veteran Service Office.
