COURSE DESCRIPTION
8:30-9:00: Registration and light breakfast
9:00-12: Sessions
12-1pm: Lunch & Truck tour
1-4pm: Sessions
4-5pm: Happy hour mixer
Sessions will include the following topics:
- Geophysics
- Pressuremeter
- CPT data soil behavior type, dissipation tests & seismic
- CPT data applications for design
- CPT data for liquefaction, lateral spreading and settlement
- Instrumented Becker Penetration Test (iBPT)
This short course will also include show-and-tell of various testing and sampling systems such as in-situ probes, tooling and specialty samplers.

- All attendees will receive a hardcopy book of the recently drafted 2023 first edition: “The Cone Penetration Test: A CPT Design Parameter Manual”.
