A little about the Rigger
Host: Lexi B.
Info:
I was first introduced to rigging in 2018, and by 2020 my passion had fully come alive through the beauty, creativity, and energetic exchange found within the rope arts. What began as curiosity quickly became a deep, disciplined study. I immersed myself not only in technique, but in the history, culture, and philosophy behind traditional Japanese rope bondage, approaching the practice with respect, intention, and an appreciation for its lineage.
Over the years, dedication and consistent training shaped my style and strengthened my understanding of this craft. I grew from student to practitioner, eventually surpassing the skill level of many of my early mentors. By 2022, I began holding clinics and workshops to share my knowledge, focusing on foundational technique, safety, body awareness, and the emotional language of rope.
My work is rooted in empowerment, education, and honoring the traditions that shaped the art form.
