Theme: A Cockroach, a Hacker, and a Refugee: Three Writers on Writing the Change You Want to See

We need new stories to heal our world. The old ones aren't working anymore. Our books—representing the diverse genres of magical realism, speculative fiction, and memoir—tell stories not only about inner worlds and intimate relationships but also about failing democracies and our fractured connection with the natural world. Each book in its own way stresses the importance of creating a vision (not just critique) that can lead to change on the scale our world needs.
