During this workshop you'll lay in savasana supported with blankets, bolsters & eye pillows! We have everything you'll need but please bring your own pen and notepad for journaling after!
Enter the theta state of mind, a deeply relaxed trance like state through the beat of the divine drum.
Shamanic drumming is an ancient practice that uses certain beats to induce a deeply meditative state.
The beat of the drum slows down brain activity, altering the brain waves so we begin to move away from our active thinking brain (beta wave) into the alpha state ..a relaxed yet conscious state..a creative space.
Once we journey towards the theta state of deep meditative relaxation
During the journey you may see colours or images and even whole dreamscapes can appear behind the closed eyes. These images and story like dreamscapes often reveal deep insights into personal growth and self discovery.
The numerous physical benefits include a lowering of blood pressure and heart rate, alongside a reduction in the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline.
Finishing with a guided shamanic yoga Nidra and time for journaling at the end.
