At the helm of this incredible band is the awe-inspiring Zayne Harshaw, a self-taught guitarist with skills that will leave you breathless. Diagnosed with autism at four, Zayne proves that music knows no limits. His passion and talent take center stage in a performance that's not just music—it's a celebration of perseverance, extraordinary skill, and the unifying power of music.

About the band:
Zayne Harshaw, the self-taught lead guitarist of Blue Spectrum, passion for music magnetized similarly spirited individuals. A fellow Special Olympics teammate joined as the rhythm guitarist, a bassist from the Aspirations autistic teen group at OSU's Nisonger Center, and a drummer from a group at Children's Hospital. Together, they formed 'Spectrum,' a name later refined to 'Blue Spectrum' - a tribute to Zayne's favorite color and the band's evolving journey.
The band's lineup was further enriched with the arrival of "Uncle Al" Jefferson, a smooth vocalist, Hosea Hooks, a seasoned jazz percussionist, and Genene Blackwell, an international award-winning Nashville recording artist. Their collective talent deepened Blue Spectrum's musical depth, yet the band's ethos remained steadfast: to celebrate life beyond the lens of a diagnosis, embracing a spectrum of potential, promise, and purpose.
