Info: Sex Trafficking 101: What You Need to Know—
This foundational session provides a clear and comprehensive overview of sex trafficking—what it is, how it happens, and who is most at risk. Attendees will learn about common misconceptions, recruitment tactics, and the realities of exploitation both locally and beyond.

We will also share how Lighthouse for Life is working to prevent trafficking and support survivors, and how you can play a role in creating safer, more informed communities.

This discussion will include representatives from Lighthouse for Life, lived experience experts, local law enforcement, SLED, and a local pastor, offering a well-rounded perspective on prevention, investigation, and response.

Panelists will share insights into how trafficking is being addressed in our state, the challenges they face, and how community members can play a role in supporting these efforts.

A Q&A portion will provide attendees the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with panelists.
