Intro to sewing with a sewing machine.
Always wanted to sew but never quite known where to start? Then this lesson is for you.
This step by step sewing lesson will guide you through the basics.
Including:
- What tools will I need? The essentials to get you started.
- Get to know your sewing machine.
- Needles and Threading your machine
- Winding the bobbin.
- Stitch guide. Straight and zigzag stitch. Tips on sewing straight seams and turning corners.
- Simple project suggestions
All supplies and machines are provided, but if you have a sewing machine it's advisable you bring your own to get to know and practice on, with its manual.

NOTE - Workshop Cancellations:
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds, if you make a cancellation or do not attend a class. However, if you are unable to attend a class, course or workshop, you may transfer your booking to a friend. If you wish to do this, you must inform us in advanced by emailing [email protected]
If in the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to bad weather, or other uncontrollable events, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).
In fairness to all of our customers we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness, travel, or work hours. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a relative or friend!
