Session 2 - Stay Warm, Stay Cool: Heat Pumps Demystified (In-Person)

Are you interested in installing a heat pump to heat and cool your home efficiently with clean electricity? Join us to learn about the practical questions to ask and resources to use to install a heat pump in your home at this workshop in our three-part home electrification series sponsored by the City of Eagan.
This workshop will include:
- What you need to know about heat pump types, sizing, and how they work to make an informed decision for your home’s comfort and energy use
- Questions to ask contractors when getting quotes
- How insulation and air sealing make your heat pump more efficient and effective
- An overview of financial incentives and examples of combining them to bring down project costs
- Small group activities to get answers to your questions about your unique home
