Session 1 - Get Amped: The Basics of Electrifying Your Home (In-Person)
About this Event
Join us in-person for part one of our three-part home electrification series to learn the basics of how to switch your home’s appliances from fossil fuels to high-efficiency electric options at this workshop sponsored by the City of Eagan.
This session will include:
- A presentation on the pillars of home electrification: insulation and air sealing, heat pumps for heating and cooling, heat pump hybrid water heaters, clothes dryers, induction stoves, and electrical service upgrades
- Opportunities to ask questions about specific electrification steps and technologies
- An overview of financial incentives, planning assistance, and preferred contractors for electrification projects
Homeowners and renters are welcome.
This session features the same information presented at the “Get Amped” webinar in Eagan on August 18, 2026 and the presentation last fall 2025. Be sure to register for part two and three of our home electrification series for new and advanced information:
