Calling all beer and book lovers: will you join our brewery book club?
About this Event

Every other month, we team up with the Cambridge Public Library to highlight contemporary works from marginalized voices. All over a fresh, craft beer, of course!

For September, we plan on reading The Reformatory by Tananarive Due. Set in Jim Crow Florida, this novel follows Robert Stephens Jr. as he’s sent to a segregated reform school that is a chamber of terrors where he sees the horrors of racism and injustice, for the living and the dead.

We’ll gather in person in our Broadway location’s back taproom on Wednesday, July 1st, at 7:00 pm for our monthly discussion. Grab a beer, cold brew, or kombucha at the front bar, then come find us in the back. The discussion is casual, and all are welcome – even if you don’t finish the book, we’d still love to have you.

So we can have a sense of numbers, please register on Eventbrite – it’s free, we just like to know how many folks we can expect.

Copies of the book are available at the Main Library in Cambridge, at 449 Broadway. The e-book and digital audiobook can be borrowed through the Libby app. Let us know if you need help accessing the book.

Please note that our taprooms are 21+ and all guests should be prepared to show a valid, current government-issued photo ID at the door.
