Come join the Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard & MIT for an evening with Representative Jared Huffman (D-CA) about his new book, . In conversation with esteemed author and filmmaker Sasha Sagan and Humanist Chaplain at Harvard and MIT Greg Epstein, these humanist leaders will discuss the grip that Christian nationalistic ideologies has on government. This event will take place on Thursday, September 3rd at 7pm in the Thompson Room of Harvard University’s Barker Center, 12 Quincy St., Cambridge. A copy of the book will be included with each $35 ticket, which will be available for pickup at the event. Free tickets with no book included may also be available closer to the event date.
Jared Huffman is currently the only member of Congress who identifies as a Humanist. He founded the Congressional Freethought Caucus with Congressman Jamie Raskin to promote sound public policy based on reason, science, and moral values. He lives in San Rafael, California.
About No Prophets
No Prophets argues that Christian nationalism is now America’s most dangerous political movement.
