Join us in celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month with a special wellness event highlighting the power of lived experience. Individuals will share how they successfully manage their mental health on a daily basis, offering inspiration and practical insights. The event will also feature interactive demonstrations, including Tai Chi, adult coloring, and other calming activities designed to support overall well‑being.
Be inspired by individuals that have overcome the challenges of behavioral health recovery. You are not alone. Resources from the DC Department of Behavioral Health, the DC Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking, the Office of Healthcare and Public Benefit Ombudsman & Bill of Rights, health care companies, and other partners will be available. Learn how to access behavioral health services, understand mental health parity, and explore wellness activities designed to support your well‑being. Join us on the journey to wellness!!!
