Assemble ecowarriors! Help remove invasive plants from LCF sites on the second Saturday of each month. Join LCF's Monthly Stewardship Saturday. We will meet in the LCF parking lot at the Bruce Hannon Levee Trail, 984 Allerton Road, from 9:45-9:55 AM, then relocating closer to the trail. Terrain will be easy to moderately challenging, and most volunteers will be cutting and hauling invasive honeysuckle to a burn pile. Dress according to the weather and bring work gloves. LCF will provide tools for hand removal, but feel free to bring your own loppers if so inclined. If weather extremes impact this planned stewardship event, I will reach out directly.
