Join us for the next installment of Script-Teasers at Backdoor Theatre as we gather to read and explore The Laramie Project by Moisés Kaufman and the Members of Tectonic Theater Project! Script-Teasers is an informal play-reading series open to anyone interested in theatre, storytelling, and conversation. Whether you want to read aloud, listen, or experience a new script with others, all are welcome!
For this session, this powerful documentary-style play examines the aftermath of the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard through interviews with the people of Laramie, Wyoming. Through real stories and conversations, the play explores themes of community, compassion, prejudice, and humanity.
