Do you have what it takes to be Wichita Falls' next Senior Idol?
The Red Door Senior Center is inviting talented adults ages 60 and older to take center stage at the 16th annual Senior Idol Competition on Thursday, July 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Red Door Senior Center, located at 1000 Burnett Street in Wichita Falls.
The event will showcase the incredible talents of local seniors as they compete for prizes and bragging rights in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Serving as emcee for the event will be Chance Harmon of Backdoor Theatre, with judging provided by Jennica Lambert of River Bend Nature Center, Erika Mundt of Campfire, and Darla Diltz of Midwestern State University.
Participation is limited, and interested contestants are encouraged to register early to secure their spot. Registration is done in person at the Red Door, and the deadline is July 2.
The event is open to seniors age 60 and older. Family members, friends, and community supporters are encouraged to attend and cheer on the contestants.
