Scissor Lift Course (EWP under 11m)WARRNAMBOOL, Vic

An Elevated Work Platform (EWP) with a nominal reach of 11 metres or more requires that the operator have Worksafe Licencing. Smaller EWP operation still requires the employer to provide adequate information, instruction and training to their employees. EWP operation is often the most effective method to safely work at heights.
A Nationally recognised qualification is issued on successful completion.
This Competency covers Scissor & Vertical Lifts of any size or height.
COURSE CONTENT SUMMARY
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to safely inspect and use an Elevated Work Platform. Most trades in most industries require their workers to gain access to jobs at heights.

• Harness Fitting & Inspection
WHAT DO I DO ON THE DAY?
• Training is a combination of theory and practical — approx. 3 hour classroom & 3 hour practical.
WHAT DO I GET ON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE?
On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment & pocket competency card for RIIHAN301E Operate Elevating Work Platform.
Notice of Satisfactory Assessment is issued for EWP operation.
The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance.
