Nurture your child’s curiosity and creativity through our after-school guest sessions designed for kids aged 6–12. Discover the many stories our garden holds, from the creatures that call it home to the people, plants, and traditions connected to this shared space.
Build connections and essential skills
Designed for children aged 6 to 12, our weekly sessions align perfectly with the Wednesday garden market, making it easy for busy families to participate. The program is open to everyone, no garden membership required! Plus, caregivers to stay and join in on the fun, fostering connections and shared experiences.
What to expect
Each month offers a new adventure! Through play, discovery and creative projects, children will:
- Explore garden habitats and the critters that live there
- Learn about orchids and unusual plants
- Discover herbs and their surprising uses
- Hear stories of the land through culture and history
- Uncover the magic of soil and sustainability
We welcome guest presenters each time, artists, educators and community members who share their expertise in fun, interactive ways. Whether painting with natural pigments, building mini habitats or learning about traditional plant uses, no two sessions are ever the same.
Carers must stay with their children for the entire session to help foster a supportive learning environment.
