Our Fall 2025 theme is "Celebrate Undergrad Research" in recognition of USU's 2025 "Year of Undergraduate Research."
Friday, September 19, 2025: What do you do when you (literally) can’t unwrap science? Anthropologists Sascha Baldauf and her faculty mentor, Molly Cannon, faced a puzzle when the USU Museum of Anthropology acquired ancient mummified remains. Dismantling the precious artifact was out of the question, so they turned to USU biologists who use a specialized scanner to examine specimens without damaging them. What they found surprised them and is helping them add to their understanding of ancient burial practices. Come along with Sascha and Molly on an exciting journey of discovery!
Parking is available in the university parking terraces at 700 East 600 North, and 850 East 700 North in Logan. Parking is FREE for Science Unwrapped guests.
