Attention citizens of earth and the greater Philadelphia region, join us as we embark on our second annual Sci-Phi Film Festival taking place March 28th through March 30th. From time traveling cyborgs to invaders from another planet, our mission is to showcase some of the most exceptional science fiction films of all time over the course of 3 days. The Fest will kick off with the iconic '80s comedy SPACEBALLS! Tickets and festival passes are available now at hiwaytheater.org/sciphiIn a distant galaxy, a renegade space pilot (Bill Pullman) and his trusty half-dog, half-man sidekick (John Candy) must save a princess (Daphne Zuniga) from the evil clutches of the Spaceballs, led by President Skroob (Mel Brooks) and the dastardly Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis). This Mel Brooks cult space comedy, is endlessly quotable and parodies films from Star Wars (“May the Schwartz be with you”) to 2001: A Space Odyssey to Alien.
