Attention citizens of earth and the greater Philadelphia region, join us as we embark on our second annual Sci-Phi Film Festival taking place March 28th through March 30th. From time traveling cyborgs to invaders from another planet, our mission is to showcase some of the most exceptional science fiction films of all time over the course of 3 days. Our Sci-Phi Fest will close on Sunday with a screening of the Donald Sutherland classic INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS. In this iteration, the social critique shifts from the anti-communist sentiments of the β50s to the urban paranoia of the β70s. As spores descend from the cosmos over the Bay Area, the city flourishes with vibrant new plant life, transforming residents into drone-like shadows of their former selves Two health department officials (Donald Sutherland and Brooke Adam) discover the chilling reality as the extraterrestrial threat intensifies with each moment.
