SCAR STORIES:

Cayenne Wellness Center (CWC) presents Scar Stories: A Visual Testimony of Sickle Cell Warriors, an immersive art exhibition at the CWC Art Gallery, located within The Sanctuary—CWC’s space devoted to holistic healing and creative expression.

Through powerful portrait photography by Artfully Avant and personal narratives, Scar Stories illuminates the resilience, pain, and strength of individuals living with sickle cell disease. The exhibit honors the lived experiences of warriors and their families while offering a deeply human perspective on a condition that is often misunderstood.
