Reach the summit of Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountains, with an experienced Mountain Leader. Savour and experience the splendour of England’s finest and highest mountains.
Our walks start at Seathwaite in the upper reaches of Borrowdale and follows a finest route to the summit of Scafell Pike (978m), England’s highest mountain, via Stockley Bridge, Esk Hause (the highest mountain pass in England), Great End (910m) then along the mountain massif of Ill Crag and Broad Crag, with its wonderful mountain architecture of boulder fields, crags and cliffs, and then some easy scrambling up to the summit of Scafell Pike. From England’s highest mountain, we head back towards Seathwaite along the famous Corridor Route, with some more easy scrambling along the way, before passing Styhead Tarn and back down to Borrowdale. This route is 16km with 1,000m of ascent/descent.
Experience the thrill of the mountains, with spectacular views, dramatic landscapes and a real sense of achievement as you reach the summits.
