SBA-Adelaide Node Seminar | 18 Aug
About this Event
Welcome to the SBA-Adelaide Node Seminar Series!
Each month we'll bring together students, researchers, industry professionals, and anyone interested in Synbio to explore a range of topics in synthetic biology — from cutting-edge research to broader conversations about the field.
Whether you're deeply embedded in the field or just curious about synthetic biology, everyone is welcome.
(The seminar series will be held in a hybrid format. If you choose to attend online, the Zoom meeting link will be sent to you by email shortly after registration.)
We are delighted to have two speakers sharing their work on synthetic biology in plants in this seminar.
Prof. José-Antonio Daròs from the Institute for Plant Molecular and Cell Biology (IBMCP), a joint center between the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), in Spain. He will be talking about "Taking advantage of plant virus features to deliver CRISPR-Cas reaction components into plants".
Patrick Gong, graduating PhD candidate from the University of Western Australia. He will share his work on "Creation of an expanded plant memory gene circuit toolkit".
Hope to see you there!
