Save The Waves Film Festival - Santa Cruz, CA

In 2024, the Save The Waves Film Festival presented by O'Neill is proud to return to it's hometown! The Santa Cruz homecoming screening will be hosted at O'Neill Surf Shop 41st Avenue on Friday, July 19th. The night's festivities will include exclusive surf, environmental, adventure, and documentary films, as well as a giveaway at intermission.

The Save The Waves Film Festival is a fundraiser for the Save The Waves Coalition and World Surfing Reserves, and all proceeds support their work to conserve and protect surf ecosystems.

This event will feature a bar with offerings from West Peak Sparkling Spirits as well as light fare. To make our film festival more eco-responsible, we have eliminated single-use plastic cups at our event bars. Feel free to bring your own reusable cup, or purchase a limited edition STWFF Klean Kanteen pint cup and recieve an additional drink ticket on us!

All Eventbrite ticketholders will receive a free giveaway ticket at the door. Prizes include products from our sponsors, Save The Waves gear, and more.
