About this Event

Sana Grewal is a 14 year-old jazz pianist, vocalist, and composer who has studied at the SoCal Jazz Academy and is currently a student at the Orange County School of the Arts. Drawing inspiration from vocalists Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Blossom Dearie and Jazzmeia Horn, Sana’s sound blends vintage charm with modern elegance. A Downbeat award-winning vocalist and composer, Sana has been mentored by bassist Karim Yengsep, pianist Jeremy Siskind, and vocalists Lia Booth and Katie Majors.

Sharing the stage, 17 year-old jazz/pop pianist and vocalist, Coco (Jade) Benedetti is a student in the Jazz Conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts. Coco has studied music, piano and voice at institutions including OCSA, Jazz Angels, UCLA summer camps, Grammy Camp, CASMAC (California All State), along with private study/mentorship from jazz piano and voice professionals. She sings and has recorded music bilingually, in English and Mandarin Chinese, and was also awarded a LA Jazz Society Young Musician Showcase and live-stream concert.

Together, Sana and Coco have crafted dynamic and unique voices that blend beautifully both vocally and instrumentally.
