This session is for people working or wishing to work in any capacity with Children and young people and describes what to be aware of and how to help a child effected my abuse.
- Laws and guidance relating to safeguarding children
- Main forms, signs and effects of abuse
- Issues and barriers; including grooming & stereotyping
- What individuals need to do about handling disclosures and reporting concerns
