About this Event
Join us for a class that was designed with runners (particularly trail runners) in mind, but anyone ambulatory will benefit. It is an ALL-LEVELS class designed to challenge all levels. We’ll work from the ground up, focusing on foot and ankle strength and flexibility, working through knee and hip mobility, and drawing that up into core strength. We’ll also do a fair bit of chest and shoulder opening for better breathing posture, and sprinkle in some balance and dynamic movement to tie it all together.
This class will be lead by our amazing instructor Don DeVault. Don’s practice is informed by a multisport background. With a focus on building strength and stability over a wider range of motion, he looks to help students improve posture, balance, breathing, body awareness, and body control in ways that translate directly to totally killing it when it comes to living an active lifestyle (Especially if you might not be quite as young as you used to be). His classes are designed for students who genuinely enjoy exploring movement. His style tends toward Hatha, and things sometimes end up upside down.
This event is open to guests and registration is required to attend. All registered guests must provide a Valid Proof of ID upon check-in at Steel Fitness Premier. We ask that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in.
