Get ready to sweat in support of Riverfront Recapture’s Community Rowing Program! Register to run, walk, erg or row at https://riverfront.org/events/run-for-the-riverfront-5k/Race Details:
5K Run: This course begins and ends at the boathouse in Riverside Park
5k Row: Proficient single scullers only, club singles must be reserved with Jonathan
5K Erg: Register for a spot on one of the ergs; space is limited
Fundraising Details:
This is a fundraiser, and all net proceeds will go directly toward the rowing program.
Participants may solicit donations for participating in this event, and top fundraisers will receive prizes.
Those wishing to support the rowing program but not inclined to run, walk, row, or erg should donate to the rower of their choice
Race Day Schedule:
7:30 am: Registration Opens/Bib Pick-up
9:00 am: Race Start Time
10:00 am Social (approximate)
10:30 am: Awards Ceremony (approximate)
Awards:
5k Run: Top 3 overall male and female and first place in each age division
5k Erg: Top 3 overall male and female under 19, 20-40, 41-60, 61+ 5k
Row: Top 3 overall male and female (USRowing age handicaps applied)
5k Fundraising: Top 3 adult and top 3 high school students, top group
