Join us in welcoming the “Pollinator Habitat” @ Wolcott Park
Where: Junction of Wolcott Rd. & Elmfield St. – the entrance to the Children’s Forest
When: Saturday, September 27, 2025 (rain date: Sept 28)
Time: 10 am to noon
Meet this pollinator garden and learn why its biodiversity benefits the community, and how to create a biodiverse pollinator garden in your yard.
10 – 10:30: Enjoy an introductory talk and light refreshments in the Amphitheatre.
10:30 – noon: Garden tours, hands-on workshops, and family-friendly activities, including:
 Native plant giveaway
 How to build a pollinator garden
 Seed-ball making
 Scavenger hunt
The following collaborating organizations host this event:
Town of West Hartford's Leisure Services, its Sustainable Commission, and the West Hartford Garden Club. The “Pollinator Habitat” garden is part of the national Pollinator Pathway.
