About this Event
Join us for a day of community and wellness while we raise funds for a better future.
We’re pairing with local rescues, holistic/mental health professionals, and vendors to offer a unique integration of our future vision – that all humans and animals can heal together.
Activities for the day include:
- Opportunities to meet animals up for adoption
- Energy Readings and Reiki Sessions
- Group-based Guided Yoga
- Prqactical Self Defense Class and Seminar
- Educational Mental Health and Animal Welfare
- Vegan bites from Word of Mouth Food Truck
- Community Prize Giveaway: Enter to win locally-donated items from aligned business while supporting our mission
- Presentations from Human and Animal Health experts
We believe true well-being comes from communities healing together.
This is a donation-based event, with optional tickets for our wellness activities including Yoga, a Self Defense Class, and Reiki.
All funds collected from tickets will go towards Mana Groves Land Acquisition fund to create a space where humans and animals can find safety, healing, and community.

Host: Registered (RYT-500) Vinyasa INstructo Liliana Grandaos
Info: Mana Grove is partnering with Liliana, a certified RYT 500-hour yoga teacher with years of experience teaching at Hot 8 Yoga, to bring you a grounding and welcoming 45-minute group session focused on movement, breath, and connection.
Designed to be both calming and empowering, this session creates space to reset, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. You’ll leave feeling more balanced, more present, and more supported in both body and mind — Open to all levels.

Panel Professional: Fitness and Self Defense
Info: Mike is a former mixed martial arts fighter who now coaches martial arts at every level. He has spent years breaking down what actually works in real combat to bring you the best techniques. His goal is always to give you the skills, structure, and confidence to train the right way.
At 12PM, Mike will be giving a 25-minute educational talk on self-defense and its importance before his practical self-defense class at 12:30PM.

Panel Professional: The power of Unlikely Friendships
Info: Join us in the Tea Lounge to hear from an expert on animal care. Emma Padalino, a co-founder of Mana Grove, has been an animal caretaker for nearly 16 years. Beginning her journey in rescue work, she worked closely with trainers and veterinarians to help rehabilitate dozens of horses, developing a deep understanding of animal behavior and care. Over the years, she has trained under multiple professionals, integrating a variety of techniques into her work while honoring each animal’s individual needs.
Known for her quiet, grounded presence, she allows animals to set the pace—creating space for connection, trust, and communication to naturally unfold. For the last 13 years, she’s leaned into ownership and personal caretaker of more than 20 different animal species, including farm animals, reptiles, and insects. She brings both depth of experience and genuine compassion to every interaction.
Emma will be offering a 30-minute presentation and Q&A space in our “Tea Lounge” at 12:45pm

Panel Professional: Healing with Horses
Info: CJ is the founder and lead trainer at Win Place Home, a local OTTB horse rescue. She has been riding horses since her toddler years. in her early adulthood, she spent 6 years learning under a saddle-seat trainer before moving on to manage a riding stable full of various disciplines. Eventually the call for racehorses came, leading her to return to training. She spent several more years working with multiple trainers before eventually turning to rescue work. This has led CJ to develop an impressive 42 years of horse experience.
Stop by the tea lounge for CJ’s 45-minute talk at 2:15 pm where she will discuss her rescue organization and the transition these horses go through as well as the importance of their mental wellness during this process. She will also discuss a new program WPH offers called “healing with horses” where people and horses come together for a somatic session and the healing that is currently happening!
