Event Description:
Join Earth Moves in planting a future of sustainability, connection, and resilience at our community-led Tree Planting Day!
We have already planted over 700 fruit and nut trees and shrubs. Trees feed the future, clean the air and provide habitats.
This event invites community members of all ages to grow various trees across permaculture sites. Each tree represents a commitment to the health of our local environment, our community's well-being, and our vision for a thriving, ecologically diverse landscape.
An opportunity to enhance the local area and improve the environment.
What to Expect:
Tree Planting & Guidance: No prior experience is needed! Our team of experienced gardeners and community volunteers will provide all necessary tools and instruction.
Learn About Native Species: Discover more about the trees that support our ecosystem, attract wildlife, and enhance soil health.
Hugelkultur and Sensory Garden Tours: Explore our hugelkultur area, designed inclusively for individuals with physical disabilities. It features sensory and healing herbs selected by the community.
