Roots, Beans, and Greens: An Earth Day Activation

Oakland! Save the Date for Roots, Greens, and Beans: A Pre-Earth Day activation in collaboration with the East Oakland Black Cultural Zone facilitated by Artist As First Responder Climate Artist-in-Residence Dr. Ietef Vita, aka DJ Cavem.

This is a hands-on Earth Day activation that merges urban farming, holistic wellness, and environmental hip-hop to engage the community in sustainable practices. Come be in community and leave empowered and equipped with skills related to growing food in urban spaces, creating air-purifying plant-based art, and preparing decolonized kitchen recipes for climate-conscious resistance.
