As part of Oakland's citywide day of service, the Berkeley Branch of the California Writers Club is again hosting an Earth-day writing event at Joaquin Miller Park.Release your words and imagination at this outdoor generative writing salon in the East Bay Hills!
What have you got to say to those who are harming the Earth?
Use your words to:

• Insist on justice
• Beg for mercy
• Cry for reason
• Sway opinion
• Light fires
• Light paths
• Call upon angels
• Slay dragons!
Bring your writing in progress or start something new. Use our prompts (and your cell signal if you can) to take action, use your voice.
Bring a hat, blanket, food and drink, writing tools. Drop in or stay the whole time. Open mic at 12pm.
