A Day to Come Back to Yourself
Tuesday 22 September 2026 | 10:00am–6:00pm
Whirlow Hall Farm Trust
Perhaps you don't need a way out.
Perhaps you need a way back to yourself.
Life has a habit of pulling us away from who we are.
We become so busy looking after everyone else, keeping everything going and doing what needs to be done, that somewhere along the way we stop checking in with ourselves.
We forget what we need.
We forget what makes us feel like ourselves. Sometimes, we even forget how to be on our own side.
If any of that feels familiar, this is an invitation to spend a day together.
Not because anyone has all the answers, and certainly not because you need fixing. Simply because, when we're given permission to slow down, breathe and really listen, we often discover that we already know far more than we thought we did.
Root & Gather is an invitation to pause.
Not to escape your life, but to reconnect with it.
Not to become somebody different, but to remember who you already are.
This isn't a retreat that ends when you leave.
It's a day designed to stay with you. A day that gently changes the way you think, feel and care for yourself long after you've driven home.
The intention isn't that you leave needing someone else.
It's that you leave knowing how to support yourself.
To understand yourself a little more kindly.
To recognise the stories that no longer serve you.
To discover simple, practical ways to settle your nervous system, reconnect with yourself and make different choices when life feels busy, uncertain or overwhelming.
Because lasting change rarely happens through one life-changing day.
It grows through the small choices we make afterwards.
As summer gently gives way to autumn, nature reminds us that every season has its purpose. This time of year invites us to slow down before the pace of the final months begins.
To notice where we are. To acknowledge how far we've come. To celebrate what has grown, and gently let go of what no longer feels like it belongs.
Throughout the day you'll experience a blend of reflection, conversation, coaching, time in nature and gentle nervous system practices.
Together we'll explore the Walking Without the Map Visioning Process, moving beyond what you don't want and reconnecting with what truly matters.
There'll be time outdoors to walk, breathe and reflect, alongside guided visualisation, meaningful conversation and moments of quiet.
We'll gather around the fire to honour whatever you're ready to leave behind before closing the day with a deeply relaxing Sound Bath, giving both mind and body the opportunity to settle before returning home.
Everything throughout the day has a purpose.
Not simply to offer a lovely day away.
But to leave you with something that lasts.
Simple tools you can return to on an ordinary Tuesday morning.
Ways to calm your nervous system before reacting.
Ways to hear your own inner voice a little more clearly.
Ways to become your own greatest source of support.
There'll be no pressure to share. No expectation to have all the answers. No right or wrong way to experience the day.
Simply an invitation to meet yourself exactly where you are.
As one client beautifully shared,
"Lynn invites you, rather than pressures you."
Perhaps you're navigating menopause, changing relationships, an empty nest, career questions, stress, grief or simply that feeling that something isn't quite right anymore.
Perhaps you've become more familiar with the stories about all that you're not than the truth of all that you already are.
Or perhaps you simply know it's time to give yourself a day.
Not because you've earned it.
Not because you've reached breaking point.
Simply because you're worthy of it.
Another client described the experience by saying,
"I felt completely held, without any pressure to be or do anything other than what felt right for me."
Another shared,
"I left feeling invigorated, clear and more myself than I have in a long time."
Those words capture the intention behind Root & Gather perfectly.
Your investment is £95, which includes a full day of guided experiences, refreshments throughout the day and all workshop materials. A homemade soup lunch will be available to purchase from the Whirlow Hall Farm café if you'd like one.
Places are intentionally limited to keep the group welcoming, relaxed and personal.
As part of a commitment to supporting the local community, half of the day's profit will be donated directly to Whirlow Hall Farm Trust, helping them continue their wonderful work with children, young people, farming and nature.
If you've read this far, perhaps something has resonated.
Perhaps this is your invitation.
You don't need to have everything figured out.
You don't need to know what comes next.
Just come exactly as you are.
Together we'll create the space to slow down, reconnect and remember the woman you've always been beneath the noise.
