About the Guest Artist:
Peisen Ding (he/they) is a visual artist dedicated to mixed media practices and community-based art projects. Their work often explores urban relationships, such as connections with other individuals and the built environments in Vancouver, through photography, painting, or any other medium that arises organically in the process. As a queer Chinese immigrant, Peisen is also committed to uncovering the nuances of living with diverse identities and cultures. Their art embraces and celebrates their own unique identity and cultural root, and intends to bring care, love, and courage to those who share similar backgrounds.
