What You’ll Do

This family-friendly pizza making class is designed to welcome guests who love to cook together. Led by Commellini Estate’s culinary instructor Lanie, this relaxed, hands-on class focuses on the fundamentals of pizza making in a fun, approachable way.

Guests will watch how to make classic pizza dough from scratch and how to prepare a simple, traditional pomodoro sauce. Lanie will demonstrate each step before guests are turned loose to create TWO personal pizzas. In addition to the housemade dough and pomodoro sauce, guests will also have access to Commellini Estate’s three signature sauces and a variety of classic pizza toppings.

Once the basics are covered, everyone will build their own custom pies and enjoy the process together. The evening concludes with dining on the pizzas you create in the warm, historic setting of Commellini Estate. 

Additional Information

• Each participant will receive a pizza dough and pomodoro sauce recipe card to take home.
• Beverages will be available for purchase.
• All kitchen equipment and ingredients are provided by Commellini Estate.

What to Expect

Hands-On Experience: This class is approximately 50% hands-on, with plenty of time to practice dough handling and pizza building techniques.

Family-Friendly Format: This class is shorter and designed to be engaging for younger participants, making it a great option for families who want to cook together.

Beginner-Friendly: No prior cooking experience is needed. Lanie keeps the atmosphere relaxed, educational, and fun for all ages.

Time Commitment: The total experience lasts approximately 2 hours.
